April 26th is International 50/50 Day! What is that you ask? It is all about getting to 50/50…a gender balanced world that is better for EVERYONE. And you are invited to join the celebration!

As some of you know, our fabulous Nori Ann Reed is a Florida delegate for the national organization Vision 2020 from Drexel University. In celebration of the upcoming 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote, Vision 2020 is working, along with many partners including the League of Women Voters, to complete the unfinished business of economic, political and social equality for women.

They have 4 goals in their vision:

  • 50/50 shared leadership in business and government,
  • civic engagement to encourage every eligible woman to vote in 2020,
  • economic parity for women,
  • youth education that supports gender equality.

NO PURCHASE IS REQUIRED! Come have a drink and a nibble, learn about Vision 2020, enter for our door prize and talk to other individuals who care about these issues.
