Doc Ford Fans, Are You Ready?

The

NEW Doc Ford

adventure

Mangrove Lightning

awaits!

The ghosts of a 1925 multiple murder stalk Doc Ford, in the electrifying new novel in the New York Times–bestselling series.

Doc Ford has been involved in many strange cases. This may be one of the strangest.

A legendary charter captain and guide named Tootsie Barlow has come to him, muttering about a curse. The members of his extended family have suffered a bizarre series of attacks, and Barlow is convinced it has something to do with a multiple murder in 1925, in which his family had a shameful part.

Ford doesn’t believe in curses, but as he and his friend Tomlinson begin to investigate, following the trail of the attacks from Key Largo to Tallahassee, they, too, suffer a series of near-fatal mishaps. Is it really a curse? Or just a crime spree? The answer lies in solving a near-hundred-year-old murder . . . and probing the mind of a madman.

If you would like a signed copy of Mangrove Lightning, please call 239-472-1447.  We are happy to ship anywhere in the U.S.

Keep in mind that Deep Blue is now available in paperback AND our beloved Sanibel Flats is available in a new size with a great new cover!

Meet David Watts!

Friday, February 24th 11-1

Confessions of a private investigator revealed.

Accidental P.I. takes you on a thrill ride following the fifty-year professional career of Private Investigator David Watts, as his life story treats you to these experiences and more. From murder, rioting, gambling and drug raids to sex cases, and fraud, this behind-the-scenes peek at real-life cases shows how investigators get the job done—not like in the movies or on television.

David B. Watts, a licensed private investigator for the past four decades, specializes in fraud and business investigations.  He and Linda, his wife of 54 years, worked for major law firms, insurance companies and the Fortune 500 in the busy New York to Philadelphia corridor on cases ranging from kickbacks to special security issues. Dave has also worked several murder cases and innumerable insurance fraud matters.

His investigation career began in his twenties as a Plainfield, New Jersey patrolman. He was promoted to  detective, then joined the Union County Prosecutor’s Office as a County Investigator. These early experiences eventually launched him into a lifetime of investigation work in the private sector.  His pursuit of the  facts brought him into state and federal courts as well as the board rooms of major corporations.  He is respected among his peers and continues to take on special investigations, now in his seventies.
