Welcome Back to Hope Farm in Barbara Hagler's newest chapter book adventure series: Hope Farm Adventures

In these books for 2nd to 4th graders, our Hope Farm characters find themselves in some tricky places either of their own doing or as an accident. In these new faith-based chapter book adventures, we meet characters who act so much like real friends, we forget they are animals! Come join in the fun at Hope Farm!

St. Louis, Missouri natives, Barbara Hagler and her husband Dan (Farmer Dan) moved to rural Hope, Michigan in 2007. Barbara, an Elementary Education graduate from University of Missouri-St. Louis, began writing faith-based children’s books in 1998 for their three children who are now grown. The idea for the Hope Farm Series began with one of their chickens, Henrietta , the chicken with the crooked beak. The second book in the series, Luca Loves, is about a bull-headed bull that learns to love his neighbors. Her third book, Julia’s Joy is about the Hope Farm barn cat, Julia, who must decide whether to be joyful or jealous when Farmer Dan gets a housecat, Kit Carson. Barbara and Farmer Dan live on Hope Farm with their dogs, Kit Carson and many Hope Farm friends.
